The Kirovograd Regional Branch of the All-Ukrainian Network of People Living with HIV was founded on February 7, 2005, with the aim of carrying out charitable activities in the interests of society by providing assistance to specific categories of the population in need of help, namely people living with HIV/AIDS.
In 2005, there were two areas of focus: “Community Center for PLHIV” and “Medical and social support for HIV-positive people who are preparing for and receiving ART.”
Our projects:
“100 percent life and quality services in Kirovograd region” as part of “Reducing the burden of tuberculosis and HIV infection by creating universal access to timely and quality diagnosis and treatment of tuberculosis and its resistant forms, expanding evidence-based prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of HIV infection, and creating sustainable and viable health systems,” implemented with financial support from the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria
“100% continuum of services among prisoners and convicts in Kirovohrad region” as part of the “Serving Life” project (Serving Life), funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by RATN
“Accelerating a sustainable response to the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Kirovograd region” as part of the HealthLink project: “Accelerating Ukraine’s efforts to overcome the HIV epidemic” with the support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID)
“Collaborative Services for HIV Detection and Treatment” as part of the ACCESS Pro project:
Community Access to HIV Care and Treatment Services through Modern Information Systems and Better Connections to Services, under the PEPFAR program (2018–2023)
